About the studio
Hi I'm Dale the founder and creative at DS Design. The studio was established in 2012 with the aim of providing effective, beautiful, and creative solutions. Now with 20+ years’ experience, the studio boasts award-winning designs and a global client base of 180+ businesses built on national independents, new start-ups, and international enterprises.Throughout this time I've worked with clients across a wide and varied range of projects including: logos, branding, advertising, packaging, product labels, clothing, tattoos, books, magazines, maps, posters, stationery, vehicle livery, weddings, luxury yachts and a whole ton more.

A refined design process for successful projects.
Research
Before any creative work begins, I ensure that I fully understand your business, brand and overall vision of the project. I will then use this information to create a tailored moodboard for sign-off. From this I can then start the design process with a clear objective in mind.
Design
The creativity begins based on the 'double diamond' design process - discovery, define, develop + deliver. You'll be kept informed throughout this process and have to chance to discuss concepts, make amends and visualise your designs through mockups and presentations.
Delivery
Once you have approved the final design, all the artwork files will be supplied via a download link and as peace of mind, everything is stored on cloud servers. You'll also get helpful support and guidance when it comes to using the files correctly.
FAQ
How much do you charge for a logo?
The whole design process includes research, sketches, typography and colour discovery, concepts, revisions and finally supplying the completed logo. On average this whole process takes around 10 hours. No one project is the same so I base my costs on an hourly rate. Feel free to get in touch for a custom quote tailored to your specific needs.
What are your turnaround times?
Depending on the studio's current work schedule most projects including logos, illustrations and graphic design can be completed in 2-3 weeks. It's highly reliant on the work involved so please contact the studio for a more accurate deadline.
Is the final design mine?
Yes, once you've signed off the creative and full payment has been made, the design is yours. All files are stored and backed up on the Cloud so if you ever need them again in the future please just email.
What do you need to get started?
